Bradenton & Sarasota Fishing Charters
On a Mission Fishing Charters offers Inshore and Near shore (out to 9 miles in the Gulf of Mexico). On our Bradenton inshore fishing charters , we’ll be fishing the waterways of Tampa Bay and Sarasota Bay on the grassy flats and around the mangroves & oyster bars where the fish are feeding. Our inshore fishing charters we will be primarily target snook, trout, and redfish. These 3 species are some of the most sought-after fish because of their good fight on light tackle. and great table fare. Other species that we encounter on our inshore fishing charters include flounder, pompano, mangrove snapper, sheepshead, Spanish mackerel, bluefish, gag grouper, ladyfish, and jack crevalle. We fish with light tackle and use live bait freshly caught every morning before our fishing charter begins. Bradenton Nearshore Fishing
At On a Mission Fishing charters, we also offer trips into the Gulf of Mexico and around Egmont Key. On our Nearshore fishing charters, we’ll travel a couple miles off the beach and may go up to 9 miles into the Gulf of Mexico chasing the bite. We will take you to fish structure on the bottom like ledges and rock piles where the large fish are waiting for something good to eat. Fishing these areas, we use a couple different techniques such as dropping baits to the bottom using weights or by trolling plugs behind the fishing boat around these structures to entice pelagic fish that are located higher up in the water. These fishing trips are excellent for kids as it can be continuous fun. We come across Snappers, Groupers, Sharks, Permit, Kingfish, Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, and More!
